this must be the place

Did I ever mention that Once Upon A Time when I was MADLY and PASSIONATELY IN LOVE with the anime Trigun I attempted fic for it? That is, I started what was to be a sort of three-part epic dealing with Vash's confused and tangled romantic thoughts on the major people in his life. Only then I actually read some Trigun fic and decided it was just best to steer clear of most of that fandom? Plus, I am lazy and this would have been long. Because I wanted the first part to be Meryl (and his oh so true yet predictable and funny het love for her). And then the second part was to be Wolfie (and his hot, tortured angsty man-love of equals destined for tragedy), and then the third part was to be Knives (and the deliciously incestuous bond that ultimately consumes Knives and leaves Vash riddled with guilt), and that all of this would have been filtered through his childhood understanding of love learned from Rem.

And how complicated was all of that? Ugh. Who would write that when you just tie Meryl to Wolfwood's cross and have him rape her with a gun, which is *totally* in character btw, and naturally she would enjoy it too, cuz what girl wouldn't?

ANYWAY.
