Myspace supported and promoted Proposition 8--the Proposition in California out to ban gay marriage.
This proposition is discriminatory. It denies human beings their basic right based on nothing but fear and ignorance.
Myspace took money from this campaign and forced its users to have the ads on their Myspace, regardless of their sexuality or political beliefs. If asked to remove the ads, the Powers That Be at Myspace claimed they don't have that ability.
(If they can put the ads there, they can take them away, period.)
I want no part of a company that doesn't even respect the rights of a large percentage of its own users.
