Is it the nature of the net or just a general switch to LJ's and other blogs that has signaled the death of recs pages? Honestly...it's hard to find any pages strictly devoted to slash recs that have been updated since 2003. Blah. We've read those already!

In other bloggy news, The_Index.

For, as they put it, hardcore recs for kinkfic, rapefic, whorefic. Feel free to post anonymously, seeing as they're asking for recs for everybody's dirty little secrets.

Also found an old rec for the Hornblower fic I wrote for Kittie, Blessing, which amuses me, since it's actually the porny bit of insanity for HH that I wrote, Hardleather, that gets all the hits. (all ten of 'em. heh).

And I've discovered that I really need to get on with my original slash reccage. Since nobody seems to want to pimp that. Poor lonely original slashers, with no praise. (The_Dystopian, this reminds me, when 'xactly are you gonna post more of boykissing or sci-fi-ness? Not that I have the right to bitch about WIPs or anything...)

pir8fancier has asked for more high school crack fic. James being dorkorific in a nightclub. Rene being Renehorny. Maybe Etienne fucking Honore somewhere to make Pooky happy. Anyone else got thoughts on that? (It won't happen for months, likely).

And in personal matters: To those contemplating any RL dirtybadwrong (yetohsoright...maybe) Remember, that's what the kinky fanfiction is for. Wank wank.

Fucking brilliant. And hot, too. It's supposedly inspired by fandom characters (can't remember which fandom), but it actually reads like a piece of original historical fiction. Sumptuously written, with turns of phrase so lovely they're almost cruel -- you know what I mean, don't you? It's also got sex and betrayal and Elizabethan intrigue thrown in, if that's your kind of thing. Which I'm pretty sure it is. ;)

Thamiris writes with the sort of intensity I'd only manage if I were on absinthe. Or something. My brain's a little too small to manage that much free association... There was this fisting scene in one of her stories, with a sumptuous blond boy, and Thamiris says something along the lines of the boy "making sounds like crushed glass" -- or something. Damn it, I can't remember exactly, but I shuddered so hard when I read that!
