Spent entire morning avoiding unfinished pirate porn by reading book on fighting censorship. Very boring. Spent all yesterday afternoon avoiding unfinished pirate porn by reading book on FBI serial killing profiling unit. Less boring. From this I learned two important things (three if you count the sinister truth about VW Beetles), one, that everybody has a rock. I.E. the one thing, one psychological weakness that can be used to gain control over them. (Sick, yes I know, and yet somehow so delicious). And two, that intelligent psychos are just as good as reading people as the people chasing them, and are better at faking even the smallest human actions to put us at ease. Just the thing I need to be afraid of, somebody checking their watch.

Sounds mysterious. It was in fact quite fucked up. No, no, I wasn't afraid to be in the house alone at night. Lockings doors, closing windows. "Culture of fear" I keep telling myself, "Culture of fear". They're just messing with my head, because god forbid a woman feel safe in this damn country.

On a related note, Li Shang is in fact a serial killer. I am sorry Kittie, but he is. And Rene is a martyr and ought to die at the story's end. Sigh.

the rock

So glad this came in handy for the how to torture Horatio discussion, btw. I could be an FBI profiler if they had a division on profiling sexuality issues in fictional characters.

Ought to get something about the slash lifestyle. So far all it's gotten me is a lot of tips on good BJs. Not exactly a good job skill...unless I get desperate. :)
