Or, as it is also known, Like Fire and Water. (the ancient Chinese soap opera that consumed our lives for so many years).

I recently purchased and starting reading 'Until the Full Moon', a manga by the author of FAKE *shares grin with ScarletPhoenix* and it reminds me, in this weird way, of the Shang/Shanny saga. I miss it. I had been thinking of it anyway, in my whole obsession with graphic novel format (only I can't draw) and Pooky mentioned the saga and its lack of form but how it could kind of be shaped into one. And I was also thinking about how I missed the obsession of that saga. It was every minute of every day, written around papers and work, compared to movies, and I always had something definite I needed to write for it. And how I wanted to do something similiar with my next writing project, whatever that may be...so it's been on my mind.

Then, weirdly, I find a review of it on an original recs LJ. It called it "addictive". Pooky was happy. Then it went on to this discussion about the form of it, and the original form versus the new form that Pooky never finished revising as she couldn't think of how. Now we are both cringing. Heh. Honest discussion in that positive, but still annoyed, fandom way.

Fandom! haha! Pooky! You have a fandom!

Aw, I miss young Shang and young Shanny. That Slut

Also, I was joking about the FMA Mustang/Ed bending over a table thing...Only I just found an LJ full of recs to just such fics, and I couldn't stop my *squeeeeeees*!

I think my new signature will be "I am so fucking hard right now!"

ahhhhh!!!! the saga *pokes pooky* I think it polluted us all. *hugs it*. I can't believe strangers are discussing what comes out of Pooky's head haha how embarrassing for her.

Don't look at me. Anyone discussing anything I've done freaks me out to the extreme. Though I often wish for detailed feedback, the calm, ripping it to shreds in a loving manner that is standard for fandom might actually kill me.

*pets Pooky*

Mmmmm... FAKE. I'm gonna have to re-read that one when I got home from college. How is Until the Full Moon? I've thought about buying it, but I never had the money on hand. Is it as good as FAKE?

It's very strange. Apparently, it's from a magazine, so it's only two volumes (and the second comes out in June). It's not as cheesy as FAKE, but pretty close. (You know, that article on the differences betweeen yaoi and slash helped explain that a lot actually). I find it more romantic though, but probably because it reminded me of LFAW. It had flashbacks of the two guys together as kids, which was *geeks out* super-cute. But it's not exactly slash, as it involves shapeshifting to a woman. Though the one man, David, seems not to care, the other guy, Marlo, is actually more disturbed by it. (women and their *feelings* I guess LOL)

And then it got Kittie and I into a discussion of slashy bloodsucking in general vs. vampiric bloodsucking. And then I read Hellsing and wallowed in the gore.
