But it definitely needs to cleaned up. I looked over Chapter 18 today (I know, I forgot there even was an 18) and 17...and 17 left *me* with all these wtf? questions.

Well, it's always easier to fix something that's mainly written, I can tell you that much for sure--you're a million miles ahead of the game, so don't undercut yourself; just figure out a way to get it done. Then fix it...and yes, let it out!
