everyone, EVERYONE, who can afford it needs to go toss in five bucks (or more) to the Katrina victims in the South. it's the human thing to do, and it's easy, and yes it's true that i don't especially like the South, but Nawlins is a city after my own heart. i can't even imagine that level of destruction there. but i know they're gonna roll with it. because they are so very French, and so very pirate, but it's going to take them a while to get there. meanwhile, there is much to be done. so, please, PLEASE, go throw down for the cause.

I have just remembered one of the reasons I hate fandom (aside from general, constant wankerage) is the whole uptight communities thing.
