You know, I've noticed before hat I have a pattern of acting like I'm okay during stressful and unpleasant times, (despite the fact that a big part of the whole OCD thing is the obsessive thoughts thing, meaning I might seem calm, but internally I am nothing but churn), and then when it's all over suddenly having some medical issue. Which really are all the same one medical issue but how I interpret that issue, how my body reacts, is significant of whatever crap I'm feeling.
Feeling and denying I'm feeling, for the record, until my body says it's had enough. But anyway...
I'm sure other people have noticed that in themselves. I have noticed myself doing that, again, though much too late prevent the medical issue. Sigh. This is not like, super serious like ManBearPig or anything. It's just something I've noticed about myself. I seriously reach new levels of oblivious to my own mental anguish sometimes. It's sad.
In other news, I have been enjoying Leverage slash fic and the first season of the show The Closer even though what the hell is up with her super sensitive and impossibly patient FBI boyfriend anyway? Anyone else would have dumped her ass long ago. Yet he barely ever complains. And so far the show seems to have a problem showing him as actually being competent at his job. But whatever. Maybe that happens in Season Two. It's no good have an awesome woman in charge and yet still having a life on a TV show, if the boyfriend is this impossibly ideal. Also, the Sanchez guy? Tell me there is slash of him with someone? Cuz talk about asking for it...
Horrible Original Idea continues to drive me insane. I might have to write a starter fic like "Pleasure From A Killer" and see how it goes.
And this week's Psych episode needs a coda fic. One in which Lassi is pleased at knowing Shawn enough to shock him silent, and yet is still pissed at Shawn showing off for Juliet. Also, someone really, really needs to have their way with a mostly-acting-like-he's-unwilling Gus...up against a wall...while he has those ridiculous shorts on.
Someone... Anyone... Bueller?
Don't look at me, I have stuff to do.
And Just One of The Guys btw? Awesome movie.

Plus, Timothy Hutton, who is awesome.
I would also recommend the Closer, for strong main character chick.
Oh yes, Pleasure From a Killer, very embarrassing.

I still want her boyfriend Fritz to grow a spine. Or to at least see him kick ass at his job. We never see that ever. Just the FBI looking like asses.

And when the supporting cast has their own thing with each other (women especially) and are not just there to show the main character's awesomeness? Golden.
For some reason I like annoying characters. The ones that go just a teensy bit too far. As long as it's not shown as a good character trait, just something that you have to accept. Spastic tick, if you will.:)
(Brenda, Shawn, Reid, Greg...:)
I think Fritz is just a very laid back kind of guy. (Still, the man is FBI not a kindergarten teacher, he should get to kick ass at least *once*.)
