I just watched an episode of "Leverage"...it was okay. Not quite "Charlie's Angels" cheesy but not really a tense, heist "Mission Impossible" either (though speaking of MI, that first guy on the first season sucked ass. Where the hell was Phelps?) It's the kind of show where you aren't supposed to question too much I think. On the other hand, I can watch Timothy Hutton do almost anything srsly, though it did make me long for more "Nero Wolfe". (Ah that was a fun show, with an actual interest in keeping its shit together). Also, nerdy, crazy computer techs...I get it. They're nerds, they're crazy. Wooo! Okay now can we perhaps either just make them competent and make someone else crazy, or make them crazy in a way I haven't seen before? (Though the guy *is* funny, I will give him that). But otherwise, "Burn Notice" and "Hustle" both have better tension and more interesting conjobs.
Also, Special Forces/assassin guy with the ridiculously long hair? So ghei. He's my only slash hope for the show.
"Life" seems slightly more interesting. I just need to find the DVDs somewhere and rent them. I dinnae have Netflix.
In non-TV news, I had a disconcerting moment with a customer yesterday that threw me off for the rest of the night and I had to comfort myself by rewatching like 4 hours of "Cowboy Bebop". Then I had...a very strange...idea for a story. And it won't go away.
