srsly though, I find stuff about a bunch of LJ staffers getting laid off, but nothing implying that the whole site is going. is it just educated guesses, or has there been a leak somewhere?
The staff is down to skeleton, so the assumption is, there's no money to be made in LJ, they will keep it running, barely, but that's it. No improvements, no growth etc...
And then the assumption is, the moment they have an excuse, they'll just close it. Cut their losses and head elsewhere.
