Those who still have and use a Myspace page. Myspace evidently got money from the Mormon group trying to push Prop 8 in California---Prop 8 is an attempt to overturn gay marriage---so there are
"Vote Yes on Prop 8" ads all over the place. I emailed them to complain. I don't mind ads, but I have absolutely no desire to see those ads. (Not to mention that my Myspace is under a fake name and identity and I'm listed as a gay man...I still get the ads).

In my email I said I didn't mind ads, but that those ads were offensive and ridiculous and I want them removed from my page as soon as possible. If you have a Myspace, you might want to do the same.

Still, making me watch ads for movies and tv shows is one thing. Ads for a political race are another issue entirely. They shouldn't be there unless Myspace is saying they agree with that policy, and if they do, than everyone with a conscience ought to tell them to stick it and just go to Facebook.

Grrrrrr.

Yeah, I get that just blocking the ads is not addressing the root of the problem, but I can guarantee that Myspace will respond with how it's a business transaction and they embrace all sorts of diversity and things like that.

Because Myspace sucks.
