(An example of all reviews and comments that I really don't ever need to get again. Ever).

I really, really enjoyed your story and am writing to tell you how good it was. Normally, I don't read stories like that, I'm not really into slash or lemon, because slash is always so graphic and I think a lot of sex is just unnecessary, but I read yours anyway, though I skipped over the sex scenes. (Insert name of show/movie here) is my favorite (show/movie) and (insert name of some boyishly good-looking actor) is SO awesome, I really liked the way you wrote him, even though it was really a lot darker than (the show/movie) and it took some getting used to. You should write more stories, I bet you could do something really funny.

I had an idea for a story but I'm not a writer, so I was wondering if you could write something like that (if you do I totally don't even need credit, maybe just a line or something, k?) only in this one (insert name of strong male character from same show/movie) is having problems and (boyishly good-looking actor) helps him through it, and there's lots of disagreements and stuff, and then (boyishly good-looking actor) gets hurt, like some (bad guys or terrorists or whatever) tie him up and capture him and torture him and (strong male character) has to save him and then they get together. I don't need anything smutty or raunchy, so I don't need anything like that just you know, (strong male character) can be like holding (boyishly good-looking actor) in his arms and he's been through so much stuff that he's crying and (strong male character) can like hold him. And maybe they kiss. And then after they are together, (vapid, uninteresting, typical "strong" female character in show/movie who is just bland enough to be any of the vapid, uninteresting females watching show/movie) can come in and find (boyishly good-looking actor) as he's in the hospital and hold his hand or something and then when they are hugging (strong male character) can come up and see them and get jealous and storm off. And (boyishly good-looking actor) has to go after him and convince him that they're in love and maybe (strong male character) can start to cry because he loves him so much and then they really end up together. I just think the way you would write it would be so great.

Anyone, if you want to do that just let me know, that would be awesome.

Thanks!

Oh yes. *dances happily* Can I offer any more bunnies? I love your work! Check out any/all of my icons. I do have an idea. I want a Tony/Gibbs one based on a idea from a Gil/Nick fic. Intrested?

I think if I ever wrote an NCIS fic, it would be like this one, Drinking Games (http://www.shetiger.com/fanfic/ncis/games.html)

From: [identity profile] adnamamai.livejournal.com

Yep, I like that one, too.

The one I'm talking about is where Gil orders Nick to buy him lunch in front of everyone and he does. Then Gil takes him to get a haircut. Nick does what Gil wants without understanding why. I can so totally see Tony following Gibbs even off the clock (wonderin' why) and hungering for Gibbs touch like Nick did when Gil droped his hand off his neck.

Nick totally has bottom tendencies. Leanings? Urges? Well however you say it. Which I ever write more of Sub. Games, I would try to bring out.

From: [identity profile] adnamamai.livejournal.com

He so totally does! As does Tony. It's natural with them, just as leading is natural for Gil and Gibbs.
Sweet! If you write it, make sure I know! I'd read anything you wrote!

Torture. So much better than icky slash sex.

WRITE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!

From: [identity profile] rispacooper.livejournal.com

Torture and manly tears are socially acceptable.

This explains so much of the N/G fandom right there actually. Huh.

:P

I thought it was just me who noticed the increase in violence towards Nick/Greg. :(

Manly tears are more often Greg weeping like a girl, because you know when two men are together one of them has to be the wife in the relationship.

From: [identity profile] rispacooper.livejournal.com

I know women like their men hurt a little so they can comfort them...but hasn't the show tortured Nick and Greg enough, honestly?

They just turn one into a girl, they turn him into the most annoying type of girl---a hormonal, weepy, demanding 14 year old girl.

Because, as you know, being penetrated makes you automatically weaker and subservient and just....grrrrrrrr.

I'll stop now.

If you could just take these male characters, and make one of them into a woman, but not just a woman, a whiny, needs driven glutten for punishment...that'd be awesome.

:)

Could you rewrtie all your Psych stories and make them Jules instead of Lassiter or Hornstock? I think the idea of two men together is disgusting, but you write so well that I think Jules in the story would be so much better.

Oh, and can you add some rainbows and unicorns as well?

Excuse me, I have to go rewatch the scene in Bedrooms and Hallways where Tom Hollander is making it with Hugo Weaving....

I stopped even looking at the USA boards because of this one girl who said something about how no TV channel will ever take a chance on slash because people will stop watching. Like her. And that's why slash fans should just give up. Not that she has anything against it, or that anyone should ever take a stand or anything. It's just that "people" would stop watching.

Including herself. Though she was somehow excluded from the prejudiced assholes group. Somehow.

It was the most ignorant argument ever. And I couldn't take it.

Oh, I have such a crush on young Gene Wilder.

Torchwood is basically slashfic acted out on screen and it's doing just fine, thanks.

Besides, if the writers of, say, Psych don't know there is a whole subculture out there that wants to see two of their guys get it on, then something is really wrong here, because there is no way those slashy moments are by accident!

From: [identity profile] rispacooper.livejournal.com

From what I understand, writers being geeks and all, most writers know about/even read some of the slash and slashy comments on fanboards. i.e. House, any Joss Whedon show.

And from what I understand, most actors really don't care. The actors on several shows have admitted to putting in the gay on purpose. Smallville, for one. Horatio Hornblower. And the big one: Star Trek The Next Generation. And it was glorious. Some actors, like Viggo apparently, even secretly scroll some boards for amusement. Oh dear.

So the fans ignoring it can suck a fat one. I just wish, instead of teasing us for nothing, at least one show just ...teased us the way we are supposed to be teased with the usual straight love stories, dragging out all that sexual tension...but then actually having the gay at the end.

That would be awesome.

From: [identity profile] adnamamai.livejournal.com

House and Wilson have a *writer purposed slashy possible* theme. The writers admited in a magazine I read (someone scaned it and posted to Lj somewhere) that their relationship was written with gay undertones (or something like that). I was like "HA! I *knew* they loved each other! LOL And my family thought I was just "gay-obsessed" (i.e. seeing it everywhere)

Dude, if I had a show, I would slash it to hell and back in such a way that slashers would wonder if I troll LJ or, hell, even write some of it myself. I would be at cons telling them to slash it and send the stories to me so I can get all of it.

I choose vodka. But that will probably just lead to more crying and puking.

From: [identity profile] rockinhamburger.livejournal.com

oh geez. that's really pathetic but also a little bit funny.

"Anyone, if you want to do that just let me know, that would be awesome."

LOL... anyone... that's priceless.

is this an actual review someone left you? i might cry...

From: [identity profile] rispacooper.livejournal.com

It is...an amalgam of three comments/reviews I have been left. All typos and spellings are just what happens when you get comments from IDIOTS.
