Unlike some people who seem to find this to traumatize their childhood, I've always thought Bert & Ernie were a couple. Ahw boys.

Yeah. As a kid, I never once thought it was strange or weird that they lived together and shared beds when they were scared...or that Ernie bursts in all the time while Bert's in the bath...
