So say someone is working on what promises to be a pretty big AU for a fandom, that is actually almost done. When it's finished, would you as a reader in that fandom prefer it posted in little segments say, once a week, or since it's (in this question anyway) already finished would you like one massive fic spam????


Thoughts? Opinions?

Seems like ficspam might be overwhelming, and yet I know people get impatient sometimes for the end of stories...

En masse, frankly. We all have ADD in regards to fic. I think a piece of fiction is ALWAYS more potent when you see all its parts dancing together.

The SGA Romantic Comedy thing looks interesting, but considering I'm already killing myself doing something along the same lines now, I think not.

How long does LJ let you go per post? 20 pages, roughly?

I would love to edit but can't until after 4/15 (when snarry-games is due). LJ will let you post roughly 8000-10000 words. Depends on how many codes you use (I tend to use a lot of itals so it's more in the 8000-word range for me).

Yeah, I SAW that SGA Romantic Comedy thing but it doesn't go back far enough for me. Romantic comedy (IMO) had its heyday before 1960. After that, it wasn't true comedy. Wasn't spuffy's story awesome?
