Feeling, hm, sort of invisible today. And also just strange, in that way you do (or maybe only I do) when you're essentially wasting time on a writing project that feels oh so very important to you, but which you know is likely a piece of crap and no one else will get anyway? I mean, I have others things to be doing, and yet I'm struggling with this. Which only adds to invisible, general non-important feelings and yet you must go on.

And yeah.

CAN'T THIS JUST WRITE ITSELF? For the love of GOD, man.

I had an idea for a blog on this subject, but it brought up such feelings of inadequacy on my own part that I just decided to bag it. I went to Holy Names for high school (so I didn't have that guy crap to deal with), but the sad part is that you can STILL be screwed up and a misfit and lonely and angry without the dude thing. My senior year was actually okay. Hooked up with some people that I'm still friends with, but the previous three years were nothing more than a special form of hell.

I have to write my hd_worldcup story that I am currently writing. It is at 25,000 words and NOT finished.

I have to write my snarry_games story, which will be 20,000 minimum.

I have to finish my Your Move series, which will not be too hard, it's just a question of time.

I am committed up the wazoo. Plus I need to do promo for that real book! I'm writing every spare second. So um, no. Not yet. But I have ideas. Do you ever get the idea for a whole fic from just one line. This popped into my head last night.

"John Sheppard weighed 130 pounds when they stormed the fortress."

From there, I proceeded to spin, roughly, 20,000 words of SGA. That seems to be my word target these days. 20,000 words and certainly not less.
