After watching (the total crap that is) "the Good German", and after some fun and games with the Casablanca timeline with nigeltde I seriously want some more Louis/Rick slash.

Alas. I have too much to do.

Ditto for some "Breakfast Club" esque Rene/James AU crackfic.

In other news, I have total love and hope for humanity after yesterday, when, blasting "Try a Little Tenderness" by Otis Redding at work, I saw a girl no older than fifteen, dancing and laughing and perfectly imitating Ducky in "Pretty In Pink" and just generally kicking ass.

Awesome.

All is right with the world.

About a year and a half ago I had this genius idea of a fic called "PRINCETON-PLAINSOBORO." This is about as far as I got and I will probably never finish so I share it with you now!!!!!

At the beginning of the twenty-first century,‭ ‬eyes across the globe turned hopefully,‭ ‬or desperately,‭ ‬to America,‭ ‬where advances in medical science and diagnostic techniques injected fresh life into those who could afford it.‭ ‬Ill people hacked and wheezed their way across the nation,‭ ‬frantic to find cures for what ailed them.‭ ‬A tortuous route sprang up:‭ ‬from Barnes-Jewish across to the Cleveland Clinic,‭ ‬a thigh-clotting flight over the desert to UCLA,‭ ‬and then,‭ ‬by train,‭ ‬or auto,‭ ‬or Medevac,‭ ‬back east to Johns Hopkins.‭ ‬In those centres of healing,‭ ‬many found relief.‭ ‬But the sickest of all eventually found their way to Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital.‭ ‬Here,‭ ‬the fortunate ones,‭ ‬through money,‭ ‬or influence,‭ ‬or luck,‭ ‬obtained drugs or surgery,‭ ‬and exited,‭ ‬ready to begin their new life.‭ ‬The others,‭ ‬wait in the Clinic.‭

Oh...oh my. So *perfect* for House. Though we'd need to corrupt Wilson a little bit more.

Wilson is pretty corrupt already, he just hides it well :-D However, Renault is corrupt in a different way. Under the capitalist reign of Vogler/Strasser (this is when I thought of it!!!!!) Wilson's department makes concessions while House's won't; and I think Cuddy was Signor Ferrari? Stacy and Mark were Ilsa and Laszlo? And I can't remember how I made the other cast members match up but it was awesome.

I had to rewatch it today.

I see Cameron aas Yvonne. But then, should Chase be the bartender, Mischa? Or say...Urgarte?

I can jsut see House being impressed to learn that he'd uh...deliberately given the wrong diagnosis...to uh...whatever the German couriers are now.
