Anyone out there watch CSI?

Ok, Flist, I know none of you probably watch the extreme cheese that is CSI (Vegas). Nonetheless I have a bit of CSI fluff-ish stuff here that needs a beta-type person before I post it anywhere else.

I'm always nervous in new fandoms, and for this one I tried to do something a little differently, so for me it just feels...weird. *fails at words today*

It's Nick/Greg and almost total silliness. Blink-and-you'll-miss-it angst. Not even swear words.

(I know, it's like someone else wrote it! No swear words, no drinking, no pron, it can't be Rispa).

Anyway, I suppose I could just post it here and see. I dunno. I am perplexed.

And must get ready for work.

I have a completely irrational aversion to CSI because my family are addicts and since it plays non-stop on some channel, I hear it constantly. So I will pass this up (because you know I love your writing).

I used to hate the very mention of it too. It's so very cheesy and Jerry Bruckheimer. I know a lot of LGBT groups are in arms saying all the "outside the norm" characters die...except that pretty much *all* the characters they are investigating die, and they always show the human side of everybody...and in fact sort of delight in the kinkier episodes...William Peterson is the executive producer, and I think he brings the subjects up in a quietly subversive way really. I mean, the show is on CBS...it can only show so much...but nevertheless, his character is always so...quietly kinky and arguing that nothing is abnormal in human nature...and...

And I geeked out there. *But* I will tempt you with this...a pic to reveal my (not so) secret love of hyper geeks with experimental hair.



And also that if James lived now, his name woudl be Nick and he'd be from Texas. hahaha
