i uh...do that sometimes...sorry. will try to do better.
so....anyway....thoughts and notes from past few days. downside, my schedule sucks and, as i have said before, i need a new job. this time not for my usual complaints, though those are valid. but because someone reminded me of my punkier days today and i realized how much i miss the freedom to dye my hair whatever colour i want when i want and the right to wear funky outrageous jewelry.
downside, i need new glasses, which requires money, and i have to work with sexist jerk on wednesday. i'll deal but will be annoying.
upside! apparently the nagging emails to mcchris worked, he will be in san francisco in may. SWEET!
upside! just watched hard core logo. am thinking of doing a review of this film. short version: i wish i could write slash that dark and twisted. it's my dream. but i always romance everything. the ending is predictable...but it's about a punk band, so yeah...you already knew how it would end. total destruction.
i watched this movie because i have been reading due south fiction but haven't seen the show, and one of the rays was in it. the hot ray apparently. with dark hair...he would *be* nicholas d wolfwood. anyway...its a really good movie, especially if you're a slash fan.
upside. one of my favorite episodes of Futurama is on right now. about women in the army. "Sexlexia"
weirdside: semi-new coworker at one job mentions how he remembered me working somewhere else when he used to go there before he ever worked at this place. fine i guess though i dont remember him, and it's been months and months since i ever worked there, and i was only temping there for perhaps 2 days, and somehow, i do not find being remembered to be all that flattering.
upside. chapter 19 just about done.
downside. was accidentally made to feel like a pervert again. sigh. even knowing its not true doesn't make it any less of a pain in the ass.
still rockin' hard core logo in my head. aaah the goodness. all it needed was a my beautiful laundrette moment of hotness...but that would have ruined all the beautiful subtlety. (damn american movies for sucking so much)
