And why are there no better clips from this movie? Specifically ones in which he is flirting with her and lighting his cigarette and she completely doesn't get it? Youtube fail.
Heh. Read the text before the vid revealed itself (my computer is slow today) and I knew you were talking about The Winslow Boy. I LOVE that film; everybody is so fierce. I crushed hard on Rebecca Pidgeon. Guh. (Okay, maybe a little on Jeremy as well, that's a delicious picture;)
Just in case you missed them, here are a couple of recommendations: for Jeremy: Gosford Park + The Net (what?) and for Rebecca: State and Main plus all of Yes, Prime Minister for Nigel Hawthorne.
That's one of my favorite movies ever. -_- For real. It's so understated, so enjoyable, just so well put together. Fucking flawless. Rebecca is wonderful too. The scene where she's talking about her ex-fiancee (I think) and putting this frilly thing on her otherwise plain house dress? How can anybody be so real and natural while acting? She's just so incredibly focused and there. And he's charming, but not worthlessly charming, just deeply intensely charming. lol I gush.
They're pretty much my non-cracky Het OTP (my crack otp is Noel Fielding/Kristen Schaal).
She has a very determined face in that film, I know what you mean;) (Noticed you mentioned her being real and natural, if possible she's even better at it in State and Main)
Okay so I am NOT telling you that if they got rid of everyone on the show now but Lawrence Fishbourne, I would still watch it, because he is awesome but the rest of them currently just seem pointless and lost.
And I am not telling you that I still have no interest in Riley.
And I am definitely not telling you that last week's episode with the Astro Quest was adorable and that I think a scifi geek gave Nick Elevator Eyes.
(Okay, maybe I'd watch if it was Lawrence Fishbourne, Greg, and all the lab techs and Brass. Because I still love them).
I ended up finding it online...Mr. C was tired of my writer's block and he totally prompted me with a PSYCH prompt, which makes me think that he is more savvy to the fen-life than he lets on. I have exploded out almost 3000 words and I hit almost 1700 before any dialogue, so I was stuck remembering some canon stuff and I kind of borrowed your layout of Tom Blair's because I only remember bits and pieces of it. I hope it's ok.
Now I have to make a washed up 80s pop star disappear.

Jeremy Northam making "Emma" watchable. And then (even though it's changed from the play to be less gay) so adorable in "An Ideal Husband".
My first real exposure to Nigel Hawthorne was in "Twelfth Night" and he is so freaking good. You really do feel sorry for him at the end.
BTW, can't stop noticing GE's waxed eyebrows now.

Something about her jaw makes me swoon. I mean, I love her acting, but her jaw?
