I have no energy. Damn I hate a fit of pre-menstrual depression. Ah. So tired. And I need to make notes on 19...in which Tie-lin's symbolic reincarnation makes an appearance.
On rereading the saga, Pooky was actually proud, I am still a bit embarrassed...I am always embarrassed by old writings. Reading the beginning of IOS *really* disturbs me. Especially since, when this is all done, I'm going to have to go back and edit and expand and probably split it up into two sections or something. I really wish I knew an artist I liked enough to turn it into a graphic novel. I would find that fascinating.
We're just going to keep rewriting the same characters, I know it. It's our obsession that will never end. Our dream of course, being the little geek girls we are, is to someday write a big gay kinky fantasy epic. That way we don't have to worry about that pesky history thing. Like Robert Jordan, but with cocksucking and women who aren't complete idiots. Heh.
You know, if IOS were a French movie, it would end with Chapter 18. If you've seen enough French movies, you'd know what I mean. (sidenote, Olivier Martinez is in some bullfighter movie...should I watch?)
Also, I thought I should explain my earlier remark about male apologies...it's like this. A lot of the time, when people apologize, it isn't so much to make the person sinned against feel better as it is to make the sinner feel better. Most women when apologizing have the sense to leave that part out. Men however, are idiots, and continually whine about how bad they feel. I feel awful, I feel terrible, please forgive me etc... Which isn't what the apology is for, you assholes! Thus, I turn into an ass too, and refuse to grant them their absolution.
