Why oh why is the slash fic for CSI:NY sooooo kinky and porny and dirty and (dammitall) hot when the show itself is so bad with such blank characters? (Though, I have only seen part of the first season, so maybe they are less blank as the show goes on...?) And why is there so *little* good dirtybadwrong porns for CSI: Vegas, when both shows consistently deal with kinks and sex crimes and have such hot people on them??
They are both on CBS. Uptight, prudish CBS. But it's both of them, so this is not the reason. Is just that one is set in New York? So it's ok to porn the hell out of it?
I mean, I've always been fascinated how some fandoms allow anything without blinking (Star Trek, Due South) and some don't (Horatio Hornblower). But really...I've been reading this fandom for...36 minutes now...and I've already read one bloodsports fic, one fisting, and one hot dirty public sex in the back of a squadcar fic.
