Naturally, I've already recced this and hope you glean some more readers out of it.

It's chapter 9, and, sure, the desk figures large in that chapter but it's that COAT again (!) that makes the chapter. It converts that chapter from some of the hottest bit of written frottage to a forgiveness, a declaration as evidenced by James dressing Rene in the red coat. Like I've said before: at THAT point I knew that James loved Rene.

You know, I knew that was how that chapter was going to play out because I couldn't see it happening any other way. I knew that you would damn neither one of them, but I was curious how you were going to pull it off. Man, oh man, you did it, girlfriend.

oh, must check out new and shiny recs. You know, that fandom reminds me a lot of the pirates fandom in the day (before the fandom was taken over by 17-year olds). Not that many people, very high quality fic, there seems to be a minimum of wank (although I understand there were serious "Ray" wars at one time). All in all, I am pretty astounded by the quality. And the humor. There is some seriously funny fic. I've needed humor and the comfort these last few weeks, and there's not much humor in the potter porn world. It tends to be angsty. I'm one of the few who actually write humor, and even my humor has kind of a bite to it (most of the time).

I have to say again: this is one HELL of a piece of writing. Have you thought about getting it published. Like for real? Oh there are a couple of typos in the middle, in the same paragraph. Minor shit like a "he" when it should be a "the" and then a second one in the next sentence practically.

well i haven't delved yet. those are the more obvious recs that i had laying around still. but yeah...its like one of those fandoms where you think you've read them all and then suddenly every once in a while, you stumble across some random bit of greatness.

hee. greatness. usa has a new crappy show about a canadian scret agent working as a liason in america and just watching it made me snicker.

though they turned spunky sidekick into a girl. ah well.

Have you checked out the new ds community on LJ: ds_recsredux (I think, if not exactly that peruse my community list). It's been themed, and the last theme was RIMMING. A special kink of mine. Anyway, it's been going on about 5 weeks, with people reccing their favorites within the theme. You might find some hidden gems.

Is the show any good? You know, in a secret pleasure sort of way.

um well i was flipping abck and forth to something else. it's got that sort of USA charm like...they spend a little money on it the first season, and then after that things go downhill (like Monk).

the guy is sort of cute in a doofy way. he swears and stuff, very un-fraser like.
