what a craptastic week
where to begin? the self doubt? the misery? the overworked exhaustion? the anger? the sadness in the lives of friends? i could bitch about all of it. i'll try not to, as no one needs that shit, and apparently, it doesn't really matter anyway. i will offer sympathies to those in their own little hells right now, sorry that your jobs suck, or you're underappreciated, or feel trapped. and death is a bizarre thing...it's so very normal but we're not supposed to treat it as normal.(no, no one i know died recently, before anyone asks me). guess what though? body goes on, mind goes on, don't sweat anything you are, or are not, feeling. emotions will make themselves known when they're damn good and ready.
on to the rest of the developments this week. need to spend money on clothes and shoes for weddings/showers/graduations. then buy gifts for same. got asshole coworker fired, and feel good about it. (today i use my powers for evil, and feel no shame). saw mc chris live, waste of fucking time and money. he's funny when he talks, but i think the songs were all lip-synced. saw the law of diminishing returns in effect in my vodka-soaked bloodstream. figured out (with great assistance from Pooky) how to make animated gifs. hung out with an ex, of sorts, and realized (DUH) were better as friends. (if only i didn't admire such assholes). lots of people leaving. flakes, sort of friends, co workers, wheat from chaff blah blah. am taking desperate refuge in fantasy, no surprise there. in the bloodied pit of venomous humour that is Hellsing. Sir Integra Wingates Fairbrooks Hellsing is still the hottest woman of all time. She so casually kicks ass it's not even funny. and i greatly admire her bra. *mmm*
So that others might enjoy the Hellsing goodness, and at the same time, revel in some painfully funny fic reviews (what not to do, for the love of...someone) I have a link to Red Anne Bonney's ficbitching site. Even if you don't know Hellsing, it's still pretty damn hilarious.
