*insane Torchwood-y thoughts*

Behind the cut of course

If they are going to torment us some more with the precious Jack/Ianto love and then screw it up for the sake of GwenfuckingCooper they had so better make it up to me with angry hatesex between Ianto and Captain John Hart.

See, I think they'd planned on all this romantic tension originally between Gwen and Jack and then the whole Ianto fanlove took them a little by surprise. Now they are trying to accomodate both and they are possibly blowing the sexual tension too early. (Not that that kiss wasn't the hottest thing since...last season, really. Anyways...)

Or maybe I am just paranoid that yet another tv show will betray me with bad writing. (BSG, Smallville, I'm looking at you).

In other news, yay for more Toshiko. I love her.

Still, how hot would Capt. John/Ianto be? Blazing suns hot, right? I mean, I'm not imagining that crazy in love/hate with Jack, Capt. John kept most of his sexy jealous flirting and ranting to Gwen and Ianto, as though he saw where Jack's eyes kept going, yes????? omg I have issues.

You have issues? I didn't know.

Shaddup. It's what makes me a crazy genius. Or something. Or just a perv with a keyboard. Whatever.

Have you been watching the Torchwood? More boykissing, plus James Marsters. Now I hate thw writing on Buffy, which is sacrilege I know, but I loved James Marsters as Spike, and to see him on Torchwood was yummy awesome.

No, I'm trying NOT to get pulled into SGA, but it's a losing battle. I will admit to James Marsters all 'round hotness factor. That one clip you sent me from YouTube on Torchwood with the kissing? GAH! That was so unbelievable hot and angsty. It tears me up everytime I watch it.

And you know what's really scary? I haven't read any spoilers about Gwen-Googly-Eyed-Marvel-Cooper actually marrying The Long-Suffering Rhys. It's a fact that there's an episode about their wedding, but not a single bloody word about the ceremony being concluded - nice and proper!
I must say, I'm positively scared of what happens next.

I can't beleive she drugged him to tell him that and then suddenly its all ok, that just will not get dealt with apparently. Grrrrr.

Such a Mary Sue. She's going to turn into Lana Lang and then they'll be no dealing with her.

Ick. There had better be no running after her to stop the wedding. *gag*

>> running after her to stop the wedding
Ewww! Now that would be a solid reason to wash your eyes with, I dunno, acid, chlorine , whatever! ^__^

But seriously, while I had some compassion and understanding - limited, mind you! - for her during the 1st season, every single thing she does now just makes me - ughhhh?! WTF?!
What are the writers thinking, I just don't get it. They are breaking all records on character inconsistence.

[identity profile] rispacooper.livejournal.com 2008-02-03 08:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah I agree. For example, I love the new super sarcastic and slightly more sassy Ianto, but while we kind of sensed that in Season One, it wasn't nearly so obvious about him. So where the hell did it come from? Something while Jack as gone? Shouldn't we get to see it then?

[identity profile] stigga.livejournal.com 2008-02-03 09:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually, it looks like they are trying to connect Jack's returning and lively!Ianto. But that's just plain stupid! *facepalm* I swear, if I didn't love him and Owen so much , I'd have banned Torchwood from my computer a long time ago.
How do they make it look inadequate and brilliant at the same time? Mind-boggling.

He wasn't...uh...lively around Jack like that before. wtf?

*sigh*

Fuck. You might be on to something.

I used to love Gwen, but I hate how she ignores her groom-to-be. Yes, Captain Jack is da man, but please woman, you are out of his league.

Kiss. Hot. YES.

Toshiko is lovely.

(Did you notice Ianto's face when John was talking about an orgy? He was totally considering it. Guh.)

[identity profile] rispacooper.livejournal.com 2008-02-03 09:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Gwen would be ok but if the writers get carried away with her....

Hmmm yeah Ianto liked him. A lot. And hated himself for it.

You know, the first season I saw him as the semi-innocent thing that maybe Jack wanted but held himself away from out of some weird sense of keeping him semi-innocent and untouched by the craziness that follows Jack.

Now he's like, Gwen's engaged, I guess I'll ask Ianto out. WTF?

Though maybe that was just my sense of it and I was way off.

I liked the idea of Ianto surprising them all and growing into something more dominant (which Jack needs, imo) and considering what a good wifey Captain John apparently made, how awesome would that be?

Dom!Ianto in sexy, pseudodomestic hatesex with John Hart?
*dies*
