This fic just made me late--to leave for vacation, of all things!--but I don't really mind, because it's wonderful and hot despite the unfortunate lack of porn. Thin grey sweatshirts are bizarrely and ridiculously sexy. I often find Fraser POV a bit tiresome, but this shows that you can get a lot out of it if you do it right. The second paragraph was rather awesome in that regard; very charming.
I'm really running late and don't have time to double check, but I think you wrote a fic a couple weeks ago that had really amazing tension. This one does as well, only it's all about looking and observing and gah, that's like 10x as hot. Again, the Fraser POV just really works, with his detailed observations actually building tension rather than slowing the story down.
And did I mention that it's hot? I'll have that picture of Ray in my head all day. Not that I'm complaining, as I'll be stuck in a car for most of it and could use the distraction.
